The actual gameplay is standard fare for party games -- players move and draw a card depending what kind of square they land on (there are six varieties of squares). The questions are what distinguish Vamos; each card has six questions, and a die roll determines which one the player must answer.

Sample questions include:

• If you could travel back in time to meet anyone in your family's history, who would you want to meet? Why?
• What is the worst move you have ever seen? Why?
• What would you say are the most important factors to maintaining a healthy love life?
• Describe your worst travel experience ever.

The six question categories are:

• Midas Touch (How do you feel about wealth, spirituality and prosperity?)
• From the Earth to the Moon (What makes you tick?)
• Lovin' Things (What kind of person makes your heart beat faster?)
• 5 O'Clock World (How much importance does work have in your life?)
• Star Gazer (What predictions do you have for the future?)
• Fortune Cookie (What inspires you?)
